2024 VHF Low Band Logs

Patch & Channels Clear...
That is a Diamond CP610 10/6 meter dual band ground plane. I am EXTREMELY pleased with it, and would recommend it to anyone wanting to play with those bands, or VHF-Low in general. It's worth every penny. And if you use a lowband Syntor X9000 like I do, you get 10 and 6 in one radio, and it pairs nicely with that antenna.
The box with the yellow trim is an RS485 to Ethernet converter. Further down in the rack is a Spectracom NetClock/GPS. It feeds RS485 data into the converter, which then provides the data over Ethernet in NTP format. All of my equipment here synchronizes to that, rather than over the internet. There is a GPS antenna on the roof that feeds the NetClock. The NetClock can also provide a frequency standard to slave the oscillators in my UHF stuff to, but I haven't bothered.
I just racked up the scanner stuff today, before it was shoved in between cards in a Centracom card cage, I finally got time to remove the Centracom and re-rack everything in there nicely since the lowband logging setup is most likely here to stay (thanks a lot fellas... more work).
