The only draw back with the imsa lists. Ive noticed they dont update to reflect a change or u will see a blank. Or nothing for 2nd channel and the Re employee never submits or amends list. Re was or is the frequency coordinator clearing house. RR apparently does some of the teams. (Or at least used to) RE guy didn't seem to want to reply to fans. But RR did.

At least teams and officials ain't enc. I don't recall team rule or rules abt digital and analog comms. Im also trying to recollect if the series used digital and if radio was setup same or sim to Nascar.

Attached is the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech and Michelin Series BC125AT File and a corresponding Channel Layout Printout. Most Primary Frequencies were verified at the Laguna Seca Event with the exception of the LMP2 Category and the Endurance Series Entrants as they were not in attendance. Most of these Entrants should be Present at the Petit Le Mans Race for those attending with Scanners. I have also added the listed Alternate Frequencies, IMSA Officials and a few of the most commonly used Frequencies for the NBC Sports and IMSA Radio Audio Broadcasts.

So, most Frequencies have been Updated from the Available Sources and should be Verified, and if possible, note the Tone Codes for future Lists and Next Years Events. R.E. will be posting their Lists for next Weekends Race at Indy but I don’t expect any upcoming changes.

If there are any Questions, let me know. Happy Scanning…

E.B.,
I agree that the Information Path is a little Slow and has Gaps, but I will say it is better than No Disclosure at all and starting from Scratch with an Empty Scanner. Using the Uniden SC-230, I will verify all Frequencies that are Published, Note T/C's and then get on the Hunt for New Frequencies by Locking out the Verified Frequencies as I search. This usually results in a few new Frequencies and a more complete list. For example, I have the #1 Paul Miller Car listed as 452.7000 as I discovered that both Team Cars use Repeaters so I listed the Output Frequency but the 457.1000 seems to be a Pretty strong Signal to begin with. Some Years ago the Paul Miller Team use a Cross-Band Repeater the Operated in the 150MHZ Range. Other Teams started using this Setup including the 3 Car Penske Team at Laguna Seca but this Configuration didn't last long, most likely due to IMSA Rules. As for R.E., they did Update the Michelin Challenge List on the Friday Morning of the Laguna Seca Race which put me in a good position to put together a more complete list. Strangely, I didn't get all of the Cars so there are some Gaps. Chad B. with R.E. actually crossed over from R.R. and followed the IMSA Program when R.E. became more prominent.
Regarding the IMSA Rules for Radio Communications, the basic standard is that all Communications must be in the Clear and can be heard with a Scanner. There are Teams that use European Digital Frequencies and are covered by an FCC STA Grant filed by MRTC to allow the Frequencies to be used and to provide a Re-Transmission Signal for IMSA to Monitor. As IMSA is a NASCAR Series, the Bulk of their Radio Communications is Digital with the exception of the Main Race Control (461.2000, DCS432) and a Backup (464.6000 DCS631) for Team Monitoring. I have attached a snip of the IMSA Rules where Article 14 details the Radio use also and the MRTC STA Info. I hope this is Helpful.

They could be like Anderson promotion which runs the indy feeders. They said we dont give there radio information out unless your a team lol. But now indy next is now on the spotters guide. They also could make all officials and team enc lol. It could always be like most fire and pd are becoming!

Files are up at racingelectronics.com raceday page. If your a Re3000 owner apparently the OTA will be operating.

Thanks so much for this file! I'm attending the the MONTUL Petit Le Mans. I saw a post mentioning RadioElectronics. Do they set up at the IMSA races or only certain IMSA events? Be nice to know as we have the RE3000 scanners too.

They support certain teams and the series radios. Alot of races they have setup a re3000 ota feed. Sometimes its near fans in midway and is easy to pickup. Other times its sitting somewhere in pits and you can't pick it up.
