Does anyone know what frequency 29 Fire (Far Hills, Bedminster FD) gets their tones from? I’ve noticed they aren’t on the main 470.1375 alerting frequency with the majority of the county.

Sidenote to that, are the North County and South County Dispatch channels still active? Or are they backups?

"North County Dispatch" is a multicast of the Fire Region 1 talkgroup. It also has paging for 29 Fire, 29 EMS, 51 Fire, 51 EMS, and 63 Fire.

"South County Dispatch," formerly known as Fire-High, was dispatch and now is paging for Franklin Fire District 3 (25 & 27 Fire), 32 Fire, and 55 Fire. 46 Fire and 53 Fire paging is usually multicast on Fire-High and 470.1375. County monitors this channel, occasionally units have come up here and County asks them to switch to the proper, usual channel.

Incidentally, recent testing on 470.1375 suggests that Franklin District 3 will soon be moving to 470.1375 with a district tone pair and separate pairs for each station.

I've been working for a couple months to collect and confirm updated tone frequencies to put in the wiki. There are some stragglers which I haven't been able to get yet, hopefully soon.

The Somerset County wiki page has a hyperlink to John Burricelli's PDF, which has pager tone data. It was good at the time but is outdated now, over 10 years old with additions, deletions, and changes in the intervening time.

Does anyone know whether 77-EMS (South Bound Brook) still exists and if so, where they are paged? I haven't caught them on 470.1375, 155.310, 155.235, or 154.310. I've been trying to monitor SBB's former local channels, nothing there either but I may be too far.

I don’t think they are still in service. I could be wrong. I drove past their station a few weeks ago and it was looking run down. I asked a buddy of mine in EMS to see if he knows.

77EMS is not in operation. RWJ has primary for the town for the foreseeable future.

South Bound Brook (77-EMS) no longer exists.
