So the Macy's fireworks are being moved back to the Hudson for the first time since 2013. I'm thinking about taking a trip. Times sure have changed since then with encryption, new systems ect. In the past interop and the event utilized the NJUTAC channels. I wonder if this will be the case still and they won't use the encrypted UTAC channel.

I would add Palisades Interstate Parkway PD to the above list. I am sure with the fireworks happening on the Hudson River that their marine unit will be very active as well.

StateComm & UASI TG’s. All site dependent. Not “ Statewide”.

Don't bet on it.

The PIP is, at least, six miles north of the nearest fireworks barge.

I appreciate the information but I just confirmed they are in fact operational for the event. Just got off the phone with one of their guys working the river.

"Active" doing what?

They took the boat out to watch the fireworks.

Big deal....

Same category as a B206 giving rides from the park, just more expensive.
