I noticed that using the band arrows, the bands aren't exactly what I expected. This is the same "beep" frequency when scrolling through freqs.
I expected:
70cm to be 420.0 - 450.0 not 430.0 - 450.0
2m to be 144.0 - 148.0 which it is.
6m to be 50.0 - 54.0 which it is.
10m to be 28.0 - 29.7 not 28.0 - 30.0
12m to be 24.89 - 24.99 not 24.4 - 25.1
15m to be 21.0 - 21.45 not 20.9 - 21.5
17m to be 18.068 - 18.168 not 17.9 - 18.5
20m to be 14.0 - 14.35 not 13.9 - 14.5
30m to be 10.1 - 10.15 not 9.9 - 10.5
40m to be 7.0 - 7.3 not 6.9 - 7.5
80m to be 3.5 - 4.0 not 3.4 - 4.1
160m to be 1.8 - 2.0 which it is.
So can the ranges be altered to match current band allocation or can the ranges be altered to match your license status?
On programming:
I seem to not be able to understand scan edges programming. If I wanted to set edges based upon my license what do I need to do? I can't get the S2 screen to display "SEL" only "PRI" so apparently I have missed a step.
Also is there a quick step to get to the bottom or top of a band? Other than selecting "FM" mode then selecting "TS"?
