Just bought the radio to hear my local NXDN system, Using Pro Scan i Import the system with all boxes checkmarked, I upload it into the radio.
The radio shows its scanning and i see all the selected towers on the radio display and its doing ID Search. The radio has not picked up any of the systems and broadcast any transmissions from any agency.
Yes the volume is up, Squelch is at 0, I have used 2 different antennas and im within 8 miles of 3 of the systems in the radio.
yes i purchased the NXDN key from Uniden.

I bought the radio just to hear these 2 Fire Depts.
Is there a setting or something else i should be doing ?

You'll need to ask in the Tennessee forum whether anyone has the LCN for the agency you're trying to monitor.

It's not included in the database.

@buddrousa may be able to assist you
I think he asked but i didnt know what it was or i needed them. I followed the link above and my radio does not offer Analyze option.

Will the 536HP do what i want ?
I seen you have one.
The 536HP, 436HP, SDS100, and SDS200 all have an LCN finder which can be used to determine the values for NXDN & DMR systems (if you have the appropriate upgrade key). While I have not used one of the SDR dongles, if using the correct software, can also find those values for you.

Have you tried the spreadsheet calculator that was linked in your other thread?

I dont know how to do the spreadsheet calculator, Im waiting on a reply from Uniden to see if i can use the NXDN key again with proof that im returning the 996P2.
I was hoping this radio would do what i wanted. Loks like its going back and im getting a 536 that appears to be easier to program.
