Speaking of AMR.... Are they still simulcasting on the Hinds TRS? Also do you ever get a chance to go down into Simpson Co? If so can you nab the Slot, TG and CC for AMR down that way?

And on the Simpson Co note.... Anyone that can confirm current status of the LTR system there, is SCSO on it at all, or MSWIN full time only? CC, SLOT and TG of the only PD down there on its own DMR system? Most of the data in the DB for Simpson is from what I gathered myself back when I was still living in MS. So it is a tad old.

SEMAAD aircraft make almost daily trips to Jackson.

Really? They have stepped up. Back in the days of only Rescue 7 in operation, it was rare for them to fly to UMC as usually they did hop to FGH, and then rolled by land to UMC unless it was really needed. Though they did go to GBC rather more frequently! Goes to show what happens when you have 3 primary birds and Rescue 7 as backup now.

Just so y'all know the bright yellow bird is the UMMC AirCare spare unit they use while their other aircraft are out for maintenance. The helicopter is owned by PHI Air Medical and is in their classic scheme. The only Air Evac Inc. flights are based on the Mississippi River up north and across the river in Louisiana actually rare they make flights to UMMC.

I heard once in Laurel this morning. I'm still trying to find out if they dispatch EMSERV on the highband or MSWIN.

AAA still uses vhf in pike county. They also use state ambulance freq. to talk to southwest hospital.
I have heard AAA in Hattiesburg, which they dispatch out from.
