Going to the motor city for game 5 NHL. Preprogram ? Does it work for Wayne co? also how do you find the frequency numbers for a pre programed channel like plymouth mi. fd.? Just one more quick ? What does dskp do? on or off. Thanks.

Yes it will work on the MPSCS system. Check the database for all you freq needs.

The scanner will work in Wayne county just fine. There is quite a mixture of systems in use. You will probally want the MPSCS's Northville tower (800 P25), Livonia EDAS system, and the other analog stuff in the area.

I never liked the pre-programmed stuff. Among other annoyances, some of the shared freqs are in more than once so the tags may not be accurate when it stops. Annoyance, poor programming, and my OCD aside- you will hear plenty.
