All these things become much easier if you just use FMP24. Or, at a minimum use FMP24 to get your setup running, confirm you can decode audio etc etc, then switch your audio source to whatever other program you are wanting to use.
Yeah, still sdr with vb, using 1R.batLooks like its trying to decode data and showing errors. Don't see any voice calls in your pic. How are you attempting now? Are you using FMP24 with DSDPlus or still using sdr# and virtual cables?
No, I have only one receiver, but thanks for all this infoHave you confirmed with another receiver there are active voice (or what you refer to as "speech") transmissions that DSDPlus isn't decoding? Your screenshot looks like weak data to me
Keep an eye out in the console window for this when there are active voice transmissions

You'll also want to keep an eye on your event log window. Active voice will be light green and past voice events will be a darker green

This will log encrypted voice events like shown below but won't decrypt conversations

Yeah, still sdr with vb, using 1R.bat
With just one dongle, one can use both DSDPlus and fmp24 and decode and also follow calls on a trunked system and conventional freqs. No, I have only one receiver, but thanks for all this info

First pic is what fmp24.exe shows and second is fmp24-vc.bat

Woah, how many steps, thanks, I'll tryThere is no need to use all that extra garbage.

Clicking fmp24.exe will try to open using the use first available dongle switch. (-i0)

Launching fmp24-vc will try dongle number 2, which your system is saying is in use. Either driver issue or its in use in sdr#.

Do not use fmp24.exe or fmp24-vc. Use Fmp24-CC.bat. Make sure the dongle is not running in sdr crap or fmp24 wont be able to open it.
Once you get fmp24 open and looking something like this, type in the freq you want to scan and verify you can see it on the spectrum.

Then open 1r.bat
Hi everyone, I'm using:
sdr# from here SDR# and Airspy Downloads - AIRSPY (Jan 1, 2025)
dsd+ from here DSDPlus – Digital Decoder (Dec 4, 2025)
and VBCable.
cc and vc launch only with disconnected dongle, when it's connected, cc shows #1 in use, vc shows #2 in useFor single dongle use its fmp24-cc.bat and 1r.bat.
I've got only one, unfortunatelyFor DSD to be happy you often have to start the individual .bats in order.
1 start your edited to the CC frequency FMP24-CC.bat
2 start the FMP24-VC the stock configuration should be fine
3 start the DSD R1.bat
This should get everything running correctly with 2 SDR dongles.
Once you get it going properly let us know and I will see if I have a few minutes to make you a single .bat that will do all of this in one step. In my configuration I am only using one SDR but it might be interesting to do some logging using 2.
