No I'm thinking it may have been a third user like CSPT unless they too use the FoxTrot callsign. Anyway there is a debrief at 15:00 hours.
Yes that was quite the use of that Mutual Aid CET for the big St. Albert Fire. I still think St. Albert should have at least one CET. Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Red Deer have 5 each.TG 755 "CET Sturgeon County"
356 is Corrections and is EYOC 1 (Edmonton Young Offenders Center). They use 40103XX, 4012XXX for bases or consoles and also 4013XXX series, Keep in mind that center has some funky names for units like Athabasca and Wabasa and others. Usually it's the 4012XXX UID's that transmit in the clear.I saw 4010308, 4010313, 4010314, 4010315, 4010327.
Just a quick question. How do you get such precise channel names ?I will have to rectify that. Also Add 357 EYOC 2 and 348 Fort Saskatchewan Correctional Center (FSCC). I rarely hear clear voice on these and I record them 24/7.
I have nothing for those three talk groups but yes Alberta Parks. Here in Edmonton I mainly get the Spruce Grove/Pembina Parks or the Cooking Lake/Blackfoot Parks. Going by memory the AB parks UID's should be in the 4018XXX range.I have tgid 3118, 3119, 3120 that I would love to find channel names. I know it’s Alberta Parks.
For these three corrections groups I called them what they were called on the old VHF system. EYOC was on VHF DMR and Ft Sask was on VHF Conventional. But sometimes during set up before they are almost all encrypted you hear the techs use the term Testing on EYOC 1. On many two way radios you have only 8 slots in your alfa numeric display so you must be brief. Some portables don't even have alpha numeric displays just a knob with channels numbered 1 to 16. So as an example if that were the case for EYOC they would just use the channel numbers. "Go to Channel 2".Just a quick question. How do you get such precise channel names ?
