Apparently there's a golf course on AFRRCS, TG 4291 & 4292, all morning and into the afternoon, golf course maintenance chatter...

5293 Sturgeon County CPO

Also St Albert fire was on 4499 all afternoon, same RID's also on 4497 & 4494.
4291 is the Broadmoor Golf Course in Sherwood Park. 4292 is the same but for the Pro Shop.

5293 Sturgeon County CPO 1
5294 Sturgeon County CPO 2

4499 was called Training 6 yesterday. Don't think they have 6 training channels rather than it's programmed into channel 6 in the Fire Zone.

Let me know if you want to submit them to database or should I.

I guess that course is owned and operated by Sherwood Park, as to why it's on AFRRCS.

I find it unlikely that St Albert Fire has 6 training channels, so you're probably correct.

Also noticed that TG 4521 is St Albert, CPO or By-law.

I'm not sure of what all is needed to submit info, unless the above is all that is required.

Yes it's a County of Strathcona Course and for some reason they use two agency numbers. They use 19 which are the first responders radios and 42 which is the second tier radios that pay to be on the system. Perhaps trying to cut down on the paid billing.
I'm guessing group 4500 will be St Albert Fire Training 7 but I haven't confirmed that.

4521 is St Albert Municipal Enforcement Services. A fancy name for CPO. They are dispatched by RCMP.

Let's see what mciupa thinks but I can certainly submit these. But it is easy to do going to the Database then selecting Submit info.

Yesterday in lac la Biche I heard tgid 142. RCMP called the channel northeast CPO. Bonnyville CPO responded from radio I’d 100137
RCMP seem to have these clear 140 area CPO channels in their radios but they don't have the 150 area CPO PRCC channels where most hang out unless on their own groups. I've heard the RCMP call numerous times on the 140 groups but never get an answer,

And yes Bonnyville is Agency 10.

I've just submitted these CPO groups to the database. They are in RCMP radios but rarely used at this time.

141 Northwest
142 Northeast
143 Grande Prairie Region
144 Central
145 Red Deer Region
146 Southwest
147 Southeast

4580 "Strathcona Patch Inter Radio," (Interop I Assume) interesting patch they've tied in, connected with Nutriem Red Water & Fort Sask, Dow Chem, NWR, Shell Canada, ATCO and Fort FD & RCMP. Mostly with RID's 507XXXX.

For what ever reason today, I've been intermittently picking up EFRS dispatch on 1952, backup Dispatch? Or someone up there hit the wrong button...

4580 Is NRCAER (Northeast Region CAER) Mutual channel based in Ft. Saskatchewan. Been around since 1991 but not on AFRRCS.

1952 is EFRS TEST for Radio testing. Must have patched Dispatch to it.

Is anyone able to confirm my suspicion that talk group 3140 with radio IDs in the Alberta Parks range of 401 would be Miquelon Lake Provincial Park?

I was down in Camrose last week and picked them up on Camrose 1 & Kingman sites. Lots of talking about a water plant and making sure the water was running to different campground groups.

Probably a good guess. I've never heard calls in the clear on any TGs (for me, 3110-3207) or radios (4018xxx) that I'm suspecting are Parks, with one or two singular exceptions.

For what it's worth, 3143 and 3189 were generating activity in the Pincher Creek area last Sunday when I was down there. As I said, encrypted audio as far as I know, so no indication of which parks they're for.

I have that group as the Cooking Lake Blackfoot Region. Not sure if that region covers Miquelon. Parks Enforcement are encrypted while Admin are in the clear.

I've received clarification from another scanner user in the area. He reports when AB Parks in that area were covered by a VHF repeater both Blackfoot and Miquelon were on it. We also know 3140 was used a couple of years ago for the Birkibiener Ski Race which is in Blackfoot.
Pretty well all the discussion regarding the campground activity is at Miquelon.

Perfect. Yeah the campground activity only makes sense to be Miquelon as the other doesn’t have camping from what I gather. Could always be a third place I suppose but geographically probably not. Blackfoot and Miquelon Provincial Parks I guess should be a good name for it and listed under Alberta Parks.

Ok. It was Tg 700. Somebody was looking for investigators and 401001 came on and said your on the wrong channel. I’ll have to check when I get home who the other rid was. This was on the lac la Biche repeater.

I don't have a 700 either - CETs start at 701 as far as I know.

I think I have seen 401001 talking on AHSNCC MA12 before so I think they might be an RMWB dispatch console.
