I ordered a 'screen protector' from them 4\14\2024 for my SDS100, since I will be taking a trip in late-May. I received e-mail confirmation of the order, that day. On 4\22\2024, I received another e-mail saying it had been delivered. I was unable check my mail until 4\28\2024. I came to find out, what I ordered, is nowhere to be found.

I have attempted to contact them by phone, and by the website.

While communication about the situation was started several times, via the website. It was never completed.

I have tried calling them multiple times, only to be left waiting for them to call me back. Which they never have.

I’ve never purchased from Zip, but regularly see people suggesting they are to be avoided. So I avoid them 🤷‍♂️
I wish I had. I saw the same covers on Amazon, but. It saying they needed to be cut with a scissors for the right size. I couldn't even do that, with an Exacto knife.

There is a scam that is rapidly increasing in which sketchy companies are providing tracking numbers for other people's orders as proof of receipt. If they provide you with a tracking number make sure to verify with the shipping entity itself (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) that your address was attached to the tracking number! These scammers are either getting smart or desperate. They know the shipping address is not normally shown online when checking a tracking number. So, it's easy for them to supply a valid tracking number for another person's order shipping to another person's address as proof of receipt when it actually does not prove anything at all. Just a heads up for everyone!

I may be wrong, but I believe it was Zip Scanners that lifted reviews from Amazon and posted them on their website.

Where did you have it delivered to, porch? mailbox? somewhere else? If you knew you'd be unable to pick it up until a week after delivery you could have requested the carrier to hold it at the nearest facility for your pick up. Somehow I don't believe this argument will end up in your favor but if it does, consider yourself lucky. Guessing no photo was taken documenting delivery either?

They 'claim', to have sent it by USPS. So, No pictures' were taken. Every time FedEx, or UPS makes a delivery, directly to the house. They take a picture, and send it to my e-mail.

There is the first failure on vendor's part: the US Postal BUMS who have no accountability for our mail. Hopefully you used a real credit card, and can file a chargeback as you have no item, no tracking or proof of shipment, and ample time has passed.

E-commerce shouldn't be hard but some just can't get it right. Customer sends payment in full....place item in box....pack correctly...print shipping label from REAL shipping carrier (UPS or FedEX)...communicate shipping status/tracking to customer. Respond to customer emails/phone calls/messages within 2-3 business days. If one's ONLY business is E-commerce, there is ZERO excuse for not responding once payment was sent.

I am calling the bank tomorrow.
Yeah no sense giving this that much more thought, as others have said, you simply call the bank and dispute the charge for the reasons that they did not provide the product and you are unable to contact the vendor...

The bank will send you a single sheet to fill out and the less you say the better. Your card was charged, you didn't receive the product and you are unable to contact them to inquire. After a period of time they will just credit your card and end up charging zip at least $20 LOL.

While the decision is being made to refund your money which has a 100% chance of happening, you will not be charged any interest on the disputed amount. Happens all day, everyday.

I had an unfavorable experience with them back in 2018 and have not used them since.
