Unless I need my glasses cleaned, I count 4 batteries, not three.

and having owned one I can verify 4 batteries are indeed needed. It wont do squat with just 3

I received my TRX-1 about 30 minutes ago. So far so, so good. DMR and NXDN seem on it seems to be out performing my SDS100.

I ordered one at $366, then tried to get Amazon to give me the price difference for the new selling price of $353. I guess they don't do that anymore. So I ordered another one at $353 and I guess I'll return the original. Interesting that at the time of purchase, you can buy a $100 Amazon gift card, they give you an extra $10, so you end up with a $110 card, which you can then use on the TRX-1 purchase, bringing your price down to $343. (yea, I know, seems like a lot of work).

Anway, that is a method to get one for $343.

Looking at the price history via Keepa.com, looks like the Amazon price was $353 last night, then about 4am today, it went up to $619, but dropped back down to $399 just before noon today. Maybe somebody fumble-fingered the price change from $353, then corrected it back down to $399.

I got it for $362.70 back in June. It was legit. I've watched for a couple of years and they do this price drop every so often.

Whistler's price is MSRP. I don't think anyone normally pays MSRP for anything.
