Rail is a bit off my beat however I did notice this. The rail dispatcher has PL on the simplex transmitter output. I have not seen any of the train traffic transmitting PL. Perhaps a work in process. No DB made as if someone would program both sides they would miss the rail side. 161.010 PL 103.5

Yeah technically the tone field in the RRDB should be blank, not CSQ, to reflect mixed usage. When left blank, most scanners will go into tone search mode automatically for the channel. Fixed.

The tone is different on every zone for each CETC dispatcher. The intent is to prevent the dispatchers from interfering with each other.

Must be set up “anti PL”, which still work with CSQ signals. Just ignore the specific PL.
