anyone from Pittsburgh?

I have noticed blocking signals from Pittsbugh police also with my local Bethel Park police.They have been scrambling their signals between different frequencies.At first I thought it was something wrong with my Whistler scanner but I also got a radio shack scanner and the same thing was happening mostly at night.I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this

What you may be hearing is on some of the city channels and i believe bethel park also is that the freqs are also used by WV SIRN system. Depending where you are located there is a good chance you may be hearing p25 signals.

UHF was propagating really good last week. I was also hearing SIRN signals. Common occurance.
