AOR8000 will not scan

Hi all.

I have an AOR8000 which used to work perfectly. Recently, the radio has been acting up and now the SCAN button is inoperative. I can still SEARCH and do a VFO SEARCH, however, the SCAN button refuses to co-operate. Is there a "quick fix" to this or am I looking at spending a few dollars in order to have this fixed?

You're probably out of luck because they no longer service those.

It might be worth checking into a new keypad. I was able to buy one of those a while back for around $17.00.
