AR5000A+3 Repairs

Hi,

Does AOR still accept the 5000A +3 for repair? My unit's power input is really misbehaving - badly. Power cable was tetsted and hads no faults.

Thanks, I figured it would be a longshot. Are there any decent thrid party techs who specialize in AOR units?

The unit is working right now, but it I move it the power drops

Subscribed to this thread, as I also have an 5000+3. (no issues so far, knock wood). Hopefully, the problem with yours is a simple fix. Maybe there is just a cracked solder joint on the PCB where the power jack connects.
