ARC500 Audio output

Is there a way that the ARC500 can transmit audio via the USB connection? I have the scanner connected to the ARC500Pro software on Win10 PC.
Can this be done, or do I need to connect the analog audio cable also to the PC sound card etc.?

Yes, a separate audio cable is necessary from the scanner audio output into the PC sound card. The USB cable does not carry audio.
