Can anyone confirm whether the Las Vegas City Marshals are fully or partially encrypted now? I run the broadcastify stream for this agency and I am hearing a lot of what sounds like data burst but I’m also hearing some regular audio mixed in. It sounds like some radios are encrypted and others are not. But I’m not sure if it’s just a fluke or something with my scanner.
This agency has gone largely under the radar until this year, where they made a bunch of controversial arrests and got intense media scrutiny, and dozens of high profile lawsuits, so I’ve been counting down the days until they encrypted the radios, so if they did encrypt, this isn’t a surprise.
