Just wondering how many hams on here are member of ARES/RACES. I'd like to see your local websites if you have one. Just post State and County along with a site link.

I am a member of the Central Ohio ARES. Feel free to check our website www.coares.org
Check out the events link and also take a look at some of the events we have worked in previous years. As you will see, we are a very active group.

Westchester County, NY :(

There is an ARES/RACES site and a coordinator for Westchester County, but as far as I can tell the program is dead.

The sister special service club, however - Westchester Emergency Communications Association (WECA), is quite active, as well as the local NTS net (Southern District Net).

I prefer to go spotting independently to avoid the "social butterflies".
But the local group here is Central Illinois Radio Club
