I just picked this little thing up and its a pretty sexy receiver. There isn't a whole lot of info included in the manual or even on the web. Anyone have one of these and have knowledge of any tips and tricks?

They look cool, but aren't very well made. Mine lasted three days before going deaf for no apparent reason.

There's not any tips or tricks that I know of for it; everything is accessible from the touch screen and menu.

In my environment, FM sounds good, but MW, SW, and AIR don't sound very good either.
Hi-z and Si5351 settings aren't even displayed.
Could this be a problem with the way I'm using it?

These little wideband radios generally have crummy front ends; it wouldn't surprise me at all if you were subject to FM overloading the radio

An extremely simple test that you can run is to disconnect all antenna(s) from the radio and tune your FM band. If you have even one that is still pegging the meter with strong signal, then FM overload is a real possibility. Fortunately there is a solution - read this thread
