Audio Problem

The audio sound great for 5 to 10 min and then it fade out and then it fade back in . This is drive me crazy please help .

Have you ever used an external speaker on this radio at all?

Yes that were I am having the most problem sorry I did not say that .My Speaker works fine I tested it .

You have to be careful with headphones and external speakers on these scanners. Still not clear if you were/have used any sort of external speaker.

I bought a 785D new YEARS ago and it had a bad speaker from the factory, very distorted audio, rather than sending the scanner back, I was able to purchase a better quality replacement speaker and it worked fine after that.

Suggest you use an external speaker to see if the audio stabilizes as a test.

Yes I have a external speakers and it works fine . It seam like the scanner runs for 5 to 10 min and then the audio fades out .I turn it back on .It sound fine agin. :/.
