I have 2 scanners that I want to autostart streaming and recording with ProScan. How do I get 2 instances of proscan to start automatically with the settings for each of the 2 scanners?
Make a new folder in your program files called ProScan2 (or whatever you'd like).
Copy all the files from ProScan.
Open the new instance, and configure for your 2nd scanner.
Create a shortcut to proscan.exe in Proscan2, call it whatever you want.
Place that shortcut in the startup folder.
If i buy a license for the software, I understand that it can be installed twice with that license, so running it twice on the same pc (two instances for 2 different scanners) would use up both uses correct? So if i used two instances on one PC, i would need to buy another license for the remote management on another PC, correct?
I don't want to speak for Bob, but my understanding is the license allows installation on 2 unique PC's, and you can run as many instances as you wish. I am running 3 instances on my feed PC and my "local" machine controls 6 scanners.

No, On the same computer is one license. The other license is only required on a different computer. You can run several instances of PROSCAN on a single computer.
I know some people just copy the installation folder to a new directory to make new instances that are configured differently, but i actually installed the software twice, will it still work the same, using the same license for both?
