Great work dave, keep it up! Based on your reports, I think we can conclude:

37716 - North Little Rock Parks & Recreation (from analog system)
37805 - North Little Rock Electric (addresses are located in NLR)

This is a dumb question...can you somehow program the radio ID's so you know what unit/car is transmitting?

On the 536 the Awin system has a tab called UnitID. You enter the Text followed by the UID and when they transmit, it shows up on the screen of the scanner. You can also set beeps and alerts per unit.

OK guys n gals, and others... Once you are pretty sure you have an TG ID'ed, please go to the AWIN system Page, and click the submit button. Send us the info this way so we have an good accurate record of it. I am one of the very few Admins that surfs the forums and gleans data here too. Partly because I know you guys (some of you anyway), and I am also an Forums Moderator.. So it goes with the job descriptions lol. TY in advance!

*** Also, as David suggested, it would be advantageous to start an wiki listing of the data for the Pulaski County Transition.....***

DBS1023 had a good idea, but Ive never used Wiki other than reading, so have no clue how to do it.

And can you link the Awin System page? I know, Im stupid, but dont want to screw up and get the admins mad. Never mind, I found it :)

That's pretty neat. Looks like I need to try and get a new scanner.

I have been thinking about getting a Motorola or Kenwood radio. Would that be a good or bad idea?

Unless you have authorization to be on the AWIN, you can not use an radio to monitor it. Any radio on an P25 system will automatically affiliate with the nearest site, and once the System Admins realize there is an RID that is not supposed to be there, they will brick your radio.

Good to know.

Is there a handheld that has better battery life than the rs 106? This thing has never lasted anywhere near half as long as my old analog. I am also looking into getting my dad a easy to use desktop to replace his analog, Any suggestions?

The PRO-96/2096's work perfectly on the AWIN. Can't speak for on the Simulcast Sites.. Only a couple of them exist currently though. The Uniden BCD396XT/996XT's are very good on it. PSR-500/600's.... Not sure on if they have better batt usage than the 106's.... The PSR-800 also very good on it, and have not heard if the PRO-18 is good on AWIN yet or not... The HP-1, with the EE upgrade is supposedly pretty decent too.

I finally got my 106 to pick up the simulcast fairly decent while I am at home.. It still isn't 100%...if I don't move around I am in decent shape.

How are the unidens holding up these days? I remember my dad having to trash several because they would stop working..
