We had something similar to that in our C-130’s, your looking at what we called “Intregated Display Control Unit” (IDCU),
our system was called “Self Contained Navigation System” (SCNS) and the picture your looking at is for like you say communications. Com 1 & 2 are set on UHF, HF below, all with no encryption.

This picture posted by the OP would be a good argument for those that think scanning and monitoring radio is "dead" ....... those people that always say the "hobby" has died due to the big "E" encryption.

Monitor aircraft radio (to include military aircraft), when they transmit AM and in the clear, as shown in the picture, and you have someone/something to listen to!

Why I still keep some old school Pro-2006/Pro-2032/Pro-2042 scanners around as well. Even the B-2 Stealth Bomber fleet is just an aircraft when it comes to comms. If you are within a hundred miles of an airport, you have something to listen to.

Two good UHF Freqs visable too. 318.050 and 305.100. Something to try in an empty channel,, just in case.

318.05 is on the Kansas City ARTCC DB page as "509BW TAD-09 Interplane".
I was unable to find 305.100 in the RRDB or FAA NASR.
Trying to determine what CIPHER WOD applies to ..
WOD means Word of the Day used by the Have Quick frequency hopping system. "A word of the day is a transmission security variable that consists of six segments of six digits each". Have Quick isn't technically an encryption system, it just has radios hop frequencies together to make it very difficult for an outsider to listen in.

CIPHER is probably part of another radio security system, best guess is that it's for LINK 16 configuration.

318.050 is for real, because it's in my logged frequencies list so I know I've heard activity on it in the past. Whether or not it was from a B-2 is another question.

The WOD also applies to SATURN.

That same video was put out several years ago during the transition period from Havequick to SATURN and was before the phase out date for Havequick in October of last year.

There may still be some straglers still going through the transition, but Havequick has been officially phased out by all branches of the US Military and NATO and replaced by SATURN.

Anything other than training WOD's are treated like key material and are usually loaded with a key load device.
