You can search it up but $88,000 has been allocated for a radio upgrade for 2017 in the Barrie budget.

They are currently P25 conventional and the rest of the city is on TRBO.

Must not be much of an upgrade... $88,000 doesn't buy you much in the radio world these days, especially if you are shopping Motorola.

Gets you maybe... 15 new impress batteries.. couple chargers, antenna or 10 and thats about it for 88G

Keep in mind that if you continuously upgrade over the years, it wouldn't take much money to convert 4 conventional P25 channels to a Phase II P25 system.
