How to tell if DMR frequency is simplex or repeater input:

(1) By frequency sub-band (usually)(more later).

(2) DSD+ shows MS (Mobile Station) for simplex/inputs, or BS (Base Station) for outputs.

(3) Listen to sound on analog receiver (all tones/decoding turned off). Simplex/input
has a rapid pulsating sound; only one TS transmitted. Repeater output is continuous grinding sound,
both TS's always transmitted even if one is idle.

I cannot leave a TimeSlot empty. When a submission arrives without that data, I am forced to list it as SL* (Wildcard) until that information is submitted, otherwise it won't list.

Understood, just suggesting that the sourcing end needs to figure it out.

Can you clarify your question?
I see that Slot 1 is used by Security and another Unidentified TG=40 user and Slot 2 is used by the cleaners. Or is this what you are pointing out?

Just pointing towards some TGs only active on one TS, not both. The way the DB works with "*" it
implies both (or unknown). I check TG activity for a "reasonable" amount of time and if it's only
on one TS, that's the one...makes the DB more accurate.

Good work BTW, getting going with DSD+. It has a bit of learning curve, nothing radical. In a city
of a million people I count less than a half dozen people running it, who are regularly on here.
