BC125AT Questions

I recently d/l "new" firmware for my BC125AT.

The firmware in the scanner prior to d/l was v. 1.04.02. From Uniden's dowload page, I was only able to d/l 1.03.01.

Seems strange that the latest firmware on their webpage is older than that which came with the scanner. My mistake for not noticing that when I did the d/l.

Anybody know why this is?

Also, when using Service Search, I am unable to shut off the "civil air" search bank-all others can be shut off. Very annoying.

Any comments or suggestions?

FW v1.04.02 just removes the ability to recharge the batteries in the scanner longer than 14 hours. This was done to make it compliant with California's CEC mandate. With regards to the service bank issue, have you tried turning it off via the software?

Tnx, solved the problem with the service bank as you advised. I always charge my batteries out of the radio, so the firmware version is not applicable to me.
