I updated my BC250Pro software to work with the new RR Web Service. Works fine, except that when I close the program I get a message telling me that BC250 has encountered errors and needs to close. Everything else seems to work fine.

I'm pretty sure it does, but I wasn't looking at that with this update. I was interested in the RR import issue. I'll try to remember to look at that when I get home.

I'm having the same error msg issue... also, it's not communicating to my 796D on a port that I know is correctly configured. Gommert released an update to his ARC396 software yesterday, which fixed a similar problem with that software, so I'm hoping we'll see an update on the ARC250, soon.
I guess this info may not be much help, but at least you know that you're not alone...

ARC250 V1.21.01 has been out for a couple of days.

I don't see anywhere for reband in ARC250 though in Software Setup a Custom Band Plan option is available, however, I think that option has been available for 6 1/2 year life of the software.

The key, AFAIK, is to have a bank type of 'Mot 800 Custom/Reband' or something similar. If it doesn't have it, then it's not capable of rebanding.
Too bad, but ProScan does cover it, so it's not a total loss. Thanks Frank

Now I'm confused...
I'm actually running V1.21.02... not Build 1.
I thought that Build 02 was the original fix for the SOAP interface to RR--there havn't been any other ARC250 updates since then.
Do you recommend reverting back to Build 1?

Hmm, I just now re downloaded and still get build 1. Current ARC433 is v1.21 build 2.

Sorry for the confusion... OP, Garys was talking about ARC250PRO and I have ARC250BASIC... I just checked ARC250PRO, and you're I right, the latest Build is 01. But... on the BASIC verson the latest build is 02... go figure.

Are you able to connect to your scanner with ARC250PRO? I can live with the Windows message, and would willingly upgrade to the PRO version, if I could just connect with the scanner.

Yes, to test that I read out my 796D last night after I installed the update. In fact, I've tested connectivity and the RR import on 996XT, 396T, BC15, and 796. I use BCTool for my 330T and haven't hooked up my 996T since this all started.
Yeah, I have too many scanners!

Thanks for the back and forth tonight... I'm still dead in the water trying to get ARC250Basic to communicate with my scanner. I even downloaded the PRO version to see if that would help, but no dice. The RR SOAP interface works fine, but for some reason, I can't get the software to detect the scanner. I've checked the port a dozen times. I'll drop Gommert a note to see if he has any ideas or if a fix is in the works. I had the exact same problem with the intial update on the ARC396Basic software, and that was fixed with an update.
