Trying to program the westchester county trunked system and when entering the offset/frequency info there is a choice for polarity?? can anyone explain to me what this is? Is it gps values??

when entering the offset/frequency input offset { 380 } spacing 12.5Hz
bank 1 - 470.3250 lower / 473.3250 uppper these are c-ch. i porgram
bank 2 - 476.2375 lower / 479..2375 upper
bank 3 - 470.0000 lower / 473..0000 upper
bank 4 - 476.0000 lower / 479..0000 upper
info there is a choice for polarity?? is { + } that's for the control ch use .... you can also program the control ch after the main setup
can anyone explain to me what this is? Is it gps values??

Don,you mean band plan where you have bank and those values I dont have the north site control channel is 470.57500 and south is 476.23750??

Band plans in basic terms are trunking tables, that help the scanner trunk track the system properly.

They have become much more used recently with all the rebanded / different trunking tables (UHF VHF) that are being used.


You also have a premium membership, if you cant figure out the bandplans you can use FREESCAN and import directly from RadioReference database and (that will input the bandplans).
