BC796 Programming help

Uniden won't support! I need help transferring computer frequency data to scanner and cannot find out how to accomplish this. Can anyone help? dean@eventmedical.net

There are several programs that can be used to program that scanner. ProScan and whatever ARC program Butel sells.
You still need to put the information into the programs but there are aids built into ProScan for importing from RadioReference.

It has been so long since I used the ARC250? program, I can't recall if they do importing from a website.

You can also hand program the 796D without too much problem.

I also recall the scanner may need the firmware updated to deal with rebanding, so depending on what you are monitoring, you might want to check the firmware version and look into the Re-banding issue.
