Is there any way to browse the database on the scanner instead of setting a location?

I can't find any way to do that but it would be nice.....maybe they can add that when they FINALLY fix the display....

I like it and bought another with the GPS for vacation but would like to browse and pick what to add to my favorites

Here's what you can do: enter a zip, hold on a system, scroll through the systems, departments, channels you want, (either choose add to favorites list and then avoid what you don't want OR avoid what you don't want and then add to favorites list), pick the favorites list to save to, and repeat with a new location. It's a bit time-consuming, but it works. Someone in another thread taught me that trick!
