Go with the HP 2. I have the 436, the 536 and the HP2. I like the HP 2 the best!!!

i receive my 536 just this morning. i choose this model coz my city is a die hard Edacs provoice. I'm impressed with the siren app, am able to listen to my scanner even when am not in the same network and far from my home, though theres a delay of few milliseconds but it just fine almost real time.
With digital, the 436/546 HP route is the only one in town as far as I am concerned. No, I don't like the memory design, but I love most of the features, including GPS. Mind you, I am a GRE/Whistler man. You cannot go wrong with the aforementioned radios. Good luck.

I have both, find the audio on the 536 much louder & clear than the HP2. Also, we have a 700 Mhz simulcast system here, which seems to be the biggest issue w/ all the digital scanners, and I find the 536 much better at dealing w/ this type of system than the HP1 or HP2. The 536 still has audio drop off issues, but far less than my HP 2. Also the siren app for the 536 is handy, you can listen to your scanner using your Iphone or IPad & WiFi connection anywhere in your house or whatever range your local Wifi goes to. However, had some issues w/ the app staying connected when my phone switches over to cell mode, so take it for what it's worth.

536 has muffled audio.. Siren app works fine even on LTE.. But i like it as my 1st scanner..

Not having any Phase 2 in my area or anytime in the foreseeable future, I decided on the Hp1.

Yes, muffled, and extremely bassy. I have posted several times my dissatisfaction with the 536 audio.
