I have been on and off the website for years but now I need some help. I bought a BCD536HP scanner, and it worked on all I needed at the time but could not pick the Sweetwater Tn. and I found it was DMR. So I updated to DMR but now it says sd card is corrupt I am sure it's it is something I have done, but I can't find a data base for a BCD536HP. I need the whole thing

SD cards go bad from time to time. Buy a spare to get back up and running within minutes of discovering a bad one.

Are you using sentinel? And do you have any Fav Lists ready to load?

If the answer is yes to the 2 questions above...
Do a "Clear User Data" on the card and reload your Fav lists...
Clear user data reloads the basics but not the Fav lists... You have to reload the Fav lists...

If your card is corrupt you may have to reformat it first before doing the above...

Clear user data should put those folders on the card...
Clear User Data preps the card for use...

Clear User Data is under the "Scanner" tab in sentinel...

I have done that and it didn;t get the folders back either
If you are using the "clear user data" function in Sentinel, and the process is completing without error, you may have a corrupted SD card. Are you seeing any error messages when you do that?

The clear used data function puts all the necessary folders and files on the SD card. What is the specific name of the folders you think are missing?

yes it said card is corrupet
Reformat the card using this utility...

and use the clear user data after formatting. If that still doesn't work, replace the SD card with a new one.

I have new card comming today. I will try to use then
Don't forget to use the clear user data function on the new card as well, it won't work in your scanner until you do.
my card does not show any of that. All it shows is the data base
you have to view sd card in sentinel abd the 2 folders are the first things on the card
Look at the SD card in Windows explorer, or any other file viewing program..... you can't see the actual folders/files on the card using Sentinel.

This should be the first thing you see when you look at the card before you open the folder... As fxdscon said... Using windows explorer...
