I'm a volunteer firefighter in Washougal Washington and I'm trying to setup this mobile scanner in my truck the same way it's setup at the station. Ultimately FIRETAP has priority but it'll switch to FIRECOM if traffic is picked up. If traffic on FIRETAP is picked up when the radio is on FIRECOM it'll then switch back to FIRETAP.
I would think this scanner has the ability since it has the beartracker feature where it'll switch to state patrol if it picks up traffic on that channel. I called Uniden customer service but the guy said I was out of luck and that no Uniden scanner could do what I wanted. I didn't beleive him so I thought I'd post here. Hopefully this made sense in what I'm trying to do. Thank you for your time in advance!
