Does anyone have a contact phone number for FreeScan? or a work around for the program with Windows 11? The program through Windows 11 does not like the cableing connection between the scanner and the computer. Thanx Don

What month is it?
Did it work properly in previous versions of Windows (10)?
There shouldn't be any appreciable difference in P&P / drivers between them.
Suggesting something else.
Look at device manager - what do you see?
Maybe try and re-do driver.
(Delete and re-install)

Also maybe try a different port to eliminate it being the problem.

This does not sound like a FreeSCAN problem.
Are you using the front or rear port on the scanner?
Does the Win Device Manager show the port as working?

Did not have 10, just downloaded freescan a couple of weeks ago. I see a com ports driver, but don't know what that means, not real techy.
thanx for the response

Not a techy person, don't know how to use device manager

Did you try these steps? In freescan press the download from scanner button, then on the comm button left of the start download button, then start auto button. This
will make freecan look for your scanner.
