Does anyone have a contact phone number for FreeScan? or a work around for the program with Windows 11? The program through Windows 11 does not like the cableing connection between the scanner and the computer. Thanx Don
This does not sound like a FreeSCAN problem.Does anyone have a contact phone number for FreeScan? or a work around for the program with Windows 11? The program through Windows 11 does not like the cableing connection between the scanner and the computer. Thanx Don
Did it work properly in previous versions of Windows (10)?
There shouldn't be any appreciable difference in P&P / drivers between them.
Suggesting something else.
Look at device manager - what do you see?
Maybe try and re-do driver.
(Delete and re-install)
Also maybe try a different port to eliminate it being the problem.
Did not have 10, just downloaded freescan a couple of weeks ago. I see a com ports driver, but don't know what that means, not real techy.Did it work properly in previous versions of Windows (10)?

Are you using the front or rear port on the scanner?
Does the Win Device Manager show the port as working?
I have no idea which driver or how to find outTry installing the cable driver here. The OP on this thread stated it worked for them on Windows 10. No idea if it'll work with 11 but it's worth a shot...
