I like this antenna for vhf and UHF low. For 800mhz I am looking at a more specifically tuned antenna like 840 to 870mhz.

The VERY best I've used is the STI-CO line of antennas that are made for law enforcement & are tuned for very specific frequency ranges, problem is they are around $290+. Second best, my Antenna Specialist nmo mount 150-174mhz antenna, it far surpasses anything except the Sti-CO that I've used & I've had hundreds of antennas over the 30 years that I've been into scanning. I'm curious to know if anyone has the NILJON antenna, it's one I'd like to try--also the AUSTIN mobile antenna?
