Needless to say no one at the post office and mailman doesn't know what happen to the package. I've been fighting with them over a week. I'm filing a claim since getting around with them.

I am curious. What is a "proprietary" battery? Why would anyone need such or design such into a radio? I would imagine the SDS 100 eats battery energy because of all of the "eye candy" on the display. The battery problems associated with this radio surely give me pause when considering a purchase.

I have finally managed to go into my account and add my ESN. Is this all I need to do for the new battery? I registered my scanner about 5 months ago, but at the time I didnt know the esn with last 3 digits was required for battery program. Am I all set now?

Send me a private message with your email/username and I can look into your my.uniden.com account and see what we are dealing with. I encourage anyone who is expecting a larger battery to do so.
