I was listening via Broadcastify to the aftermath. At some point, the feed was stopped.
Yes, likely the FEED provider got tired of the reports via media that came from listening and had nothing to do with the bombing, yet got associated because "they heard it on the internet, so it must be true" - when it was scanning other activity - the world did not stop to only search for the two ID-10-T's

I took a quick look at the website. It's too bad that the aren't going to include Channel 7. There was frequently some amusing traffic there.
Yes, there was but it is not Dispatch, so smart move to not include it

The feed provider, knew of the sensitivity of the situation and pulled the plug on the feed, despite having the record number of listeners.

It's good to finally hear the story of what happened with the feed. I was not a member of RR at the time, and remember one of the major media outlets reporting that the BPD had requested that the feed be taken down. There was so much chaos in those first few hours, and a lot of wrong information going around.

Channel 6 - 460.1750 is now encrypted.

Outside of a very few channels that haven't been confirmed yet, Boston Police have completed the transition to P25 Encrypted.

Congratulations to Boston on their new technology, I hope it serves them well.

I went to Boston for the first time last year, and monitored a lot of local public safety while there. BPD’s analog repeater system sounded phenomenal—clean, clear audio from both dispatchers and field units, and coverage so good that there was little to no noise on any transmissions. I have a feeling the transition to P25 audio is going to take some getting used to for many officers.

FYI Ch 1, the city wide channel has now gone P25 Encrypted.
All of the DB channels confirmed are updated in the DB.
The old ones are marked "deprecated" and will delete when the next auto purge happens
Thanks for updating everything so quickly.

Has anyone figured out how to keep the audio playing on RapidSOS on your phone after you’ve “minimized” the browser, and switched to an another app?
