Hearing Something about an Accident around 7 miles E of Sullivan, IN involving approx. 7 patients...AirEvac 39 out of Brazil is en route to the scene and was advised that 2 other Helicopters were en route also...LifeLine 1 and don't know the other...possibly Lifeline 3 out of Terre Haute...anyone with a digital following Sullivan County on Safe-T please update...

Confirmed other Helicopter is Lifeline 3 and is en route to Sullivan County Hospital with 2 min eta

Anyone tracking the hostage situation in Bartholomew County. I do know the State Police ERT is enroute.

Hostage situation is in Marengo, Crawford County, ISP flying through Barth County and others responding. I mean flying, 115 MPH, one car has lost siren, other talking about needing to gas up again, and something about the "van" possibly needing oil, hope it was checked before heading out. I am getting some traffic on Salem tower.

Crawford Co Hostage Situation

The Crawford Co incident is still ongoing at 2100 edt. Suspect apparently kidnapped a subject in Morgan Co. Kidnapped subject was able to flee the vehicle in Crawford Co south of English. Local law enforcement began pursuit of the vehicle. Suspect has wrecked two police vehicles during pursuit. His vehicle had two flat tires when he pulled into the driveway of private residence near Marengo. He grabbed a shotgun and ran inside the residence. Apparently two male juveniles were inside the house at the time. Their parents were on the way home from work at the time. ISP ERT on scene with negotiator at this time. Numerous county and state law enforcement units assisting.
This could be a long night...

I listened until it was over, suspect was asking for food for the two kids, he finally released the kids about 11:45pm, ISP had him in custody at 11:55pm. Thank god nobody was hurt!

I saw ISP Troopers heading down I-69 at 110 MPH on way to New Castle. They were definitely in a hurry to get there. Troopers came from as far away as Terre Haute.

Yes, I'm hearing unknown callers, and they were talking about a trailer and load shifting, down until fixed repaired. I was not getting traffic relayed through Salem tower on Seymour tower? Makes me think traffic is from up North.

Probably what you are hearing is the Indiana State Dept. of health (ISDH) completing an exercise for mass distribution of meds statewide. This exercise has been going on since the 2nd, however, today has been the bulk of the actual communications portion. Tomorrow of course will be the biggie! ISDH and IDHS will be operating in that one. When listening tomorrow I want to remind people to carefully view your TGs since the two are easily confused.

Odd I was sure of one if anything about Safet system that SW MA CALL was ON all towers.

Maybe not maybe for this detail they have prorgrammed what towers are needed.

I am sure Statewide M/A will be used as well as many others tomorrow. Today I know Statewide M/A is used for IDHS and ISDH activities for the current exercise in progress. I am hearing the activity here in Gibson County just fine. I also know that Vanderburgh County is a participant in the exercise.
