Tippecanoe County blowing their sirens for the second time in the last 10 minutes - my radar doesnt show much - as usual they just like to hear them blow - they have a very itchy button finger for sure. The idiots are really training people to not listen to them - when its real the community isnt going to believe them!!!

Nappanee police said they may have hit the button too much last night, but it ended up saving lives as at least one tornado DID hit the town.

Lead story on the news. Both lanes shut down. Van with 16 people crosses the median, flips, people ejected. What a tragic mess...

(From 13 News Live) HUGE mulch fire at Michigan Rd (US 421) & 465. Massive smoke plume with this wind. Multiple fire crews on scene.

News announced 5 dead in in crash on I69 at 49 mile mark.

Fire on Michigan Rd....they even called tankers from Hancock Co.

Sad and busy day.

Madison County EMA is assistng with traffic flow due to I69 crash. They rerouting traffic from North and South of the crash onto Ind. 9 a real mess. INDOT has supplied sign boards and arrows as well.
They also have Delaware and Henry Co assisting with traffic.
Lots of traffic on VHF, UHF and SAFET

Delaware County EMS advised Squad 51 that a total of 7 helicopters were enroute to the scene. Heard Doveflight (PHI), Samaritan, Air Evac and Lifeline

I69 open now... so they closed 465 by the fire on the northside, and with 70 not allowing trucks, well you can see it's a real cluster driving 465 now as you have to go all the way down to 65 on the southside if you have to go north on 65 or 31.

Stolen Batesville PD cruiser, they have been chasing it all around town, hit the sticks a few times, now on 74 at 130+ near Greensburg..

This is just TRAINING!! they are testing out new radios and are training you will see new talk groups pop up with this as well. You may hear MAY DAYS called as well along with Emergency buttons pushed and hear Disp tone outs and call outs on new radios aslo on Airport groups they have been training.

You will see these groups or radio ID's as well

It was breaking up pretty bad. The dispatcher did say that a unit was on scene so maybe there was a Clinton Co officer or fireman who called it in, but she did say Clinton Co. I guess we'll know more when it hits the news.....
