Is Bristol county still up and running i have no bars

Many of us in MA have determined that Bristol County lengthens the time it takes to drive out of this confounded backwards state, so we have decided to jettison it into the ocean in its entirety.
Seriously though, can you be more specific? There are both trunked and conventional radio systems in the county, to which are you referring? More detailed info will help us answer your question better than my initial statement!

There's plenty of bars in Bristol Co, I can confirm. I mean just look at my name
...but if you're talking about the Bristol Co Sheriff system, I don't monitor it much however I do recall some recent hits on it with one of my scanners. Check your programming with the database, also check your antenna and squelch

It only lengthens in time as I gain weight and cause it flatten farther.

OK cause I’m in Bristol County for some work. I’m staying over at seeknonk MA
The Seekonk area can be very difficult to receive the 800mhz band.

Are you talking about Bristol County Sheriffs trunked system, the MSP system? Or a specific town or agency? UHF, VHF?

BCSO is on a older Motorola Type II trunked system. System is still active, I heard activity on it the other day.

If its not trunking why is there a control channel? I cant get them much in attleboro. How should they be programmed? No red cc channels?Thanks.

As trunked i do get talk groups :ie 32 ,120 etc but cc alternates and can only get it barely only when its on 854.0625. Always see them around so i guess their cars can reach dartmouth. Anyway thanks again.
