Does anyone have the talk group for the South Florida Rehab and Emergency Support Team - Canteen 26 yet? I have been unsuccessful at finding it.

Canteen 26 Takes "Enroutes" and "Arrivals" and whatever Tac Channel is being utilized for the incident.
Inter Canteen Comms ONLY is on the State 292 PSIC 700 digital. However, final approval is pending for ALL Canteen comms to permanently go to BSO TAC-13. Stay tuned...

Has the Fort Lauderdale Police Department realigned their dispatch channels? It seems like North Dispatch has gone silent.

FLPD District 1 covering the swanky areas of the city have moved to Broward County trunked system talkgroup "Countywide 1" MONTHS ago and have been stuck there ever since. I don't know how a talkgroup becomes broken, but they went to great lengths to ensure that each and every last unit in the street was not accidentally transmitting on District 1. Your good is as guess as mine

I had noticed a few weeks ago that District 1 was also being broadcast on the county’s system too, but didn’t know there were plans to move it over there. Definitely a strange situation.

It doesn't sound like they have a plan. I suspect this was driven by the Radio Shop, but I have no specifics. When they initially moved the radio shop was doing extensive drive testing on the beach, which is District 1, so I guessed that maybe they wanted to minimize activity on the repeaters out there on the FtL system and use Broward's site(s) in the meantime. But this was months ago, so I have no idea what's going on, unless they just plain forgot about it?

I was told that the reason was due to interference from BDA's installed in some hi-rise buildings on the beach. Why this would only affect district 1 dispatch he didn't say.

So everything else is still on the legacy Ft. Lauderdale system, but District 1 is on the BSO system?

TG 10012 is FLL Hollywood int. airport - i have been searching because there must be another TG the airport use. On the old 1F25 system there was the TG where the units called "callcenter" i think it was 12040 or like that. Does any of you have other TG´s used in FLL airport.
In the past i also remember someone posted a link to an excel doc where all the tg´s and unit id´s are - does anybody have this link ?

For the SDS100 owners, what filter seems to be working best for you? I understand it's all about location, but since I take by SDS100 everywhere, I'm trying to figure out a decent "catch-all". Since the latest firmware update, I occasionally get garbled transmissions and high errors. I have tried all the filters, with and without IFX and attenuation. Antennas are the Larsen NMO150/450/800 and the REM-800B.

I’ve been using the INVERT filter and it seems to be my catch all as I also pretty much take mine everywhere. I also use the same Larsen antenna but I’ve also been using the EM Wave EM-M43002 and i seem to be getting slightly better results.

Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum for this post. I monitor Broward Co (Sheriff) Fire-Rescue, Pompano Beach Fire-Rescue, and Ft. Lauderdale Fire-Rescue on my SDS-100. It sounds like these three agencies all share the common Fire TAC talk groups. 1) Is this correct? 2) Do they all share the same Dispatch Center too? 3) If the same Disp Ct, is that Broward Co Regional Coms? 4) If separate individual Disp Ctrs, how does each Disp Ctr know what Fire TAC TGs are available to assign?

For Broward County you have 2 TWO Separate Simulcast Systems for Fire.
1) Broward County Public Safety
2) Coral Springs/City of Fort Lauderdale/Plantation
Every Fire Unit in the county can "switch" between systems to talk on Dispatch Mains or Tac Channels. Dispatch assigns a Tac Channel at call assignment and sometimes a unit may have to switch over. i.e. Davie FD and City of Fort Lauderdale FD working an incident together. They are on 2 different systems so somebody switches over.
There are more than a dozen dispatch centers throughout Broward with BSO being the largest. Being that everybody in the county is "Interoperability" capable it doesn't really matter what dispatch center sends it or who it comes from.

Thanks for the info. When listening to both Ft. Lauderdale FR and Pompano Beach FR, specifically, it sounds like the same dispatchers and the same tactical channel assignments (TAC-1 through TAC-4). Does BSO dispatch for FLFR and PBFR?
