Phoenix customer here with a local store. Been a customer for 20 years (one store at three locations over time), never had an issue. Even returns are handled without any drama. Good people.

That's good to know the Phoenix store is a good place to shop at. I'm thinking of getting a PSR-500 from them in the next couple of weeks. They've got the lowest price right now, but apparently none in stock at the moment.

Top-rate organization. Have purchased a bunch of radios and accessories with them over a number of years. Have always had competitive prices, great service, and a can-do attitude. The Atlanta store has a great setup of working radios. If they only had an HRO credit card.........

Just to add, you might ask if they will price match. I did get the Atlanta store to price match on an item i was looking to buy. Really a pleasure to work with. I'm like a kid in a candy store when i stop in.

Given the GRE shutdown, availability of some products will become increasingly problematic. You ought to order the scanner you want from HRO online and they'll ship from the closest in-stock store.

So, you're saying we should probably get them now while they're still available? I am worried that if I wait too long I may end up SOL because they will be unavailable except on eBay or something?

I've only made two purchases from them. The first went quite well and was non-eventful. The second demonstrated their good service. They were out of stock and contacted other stores to find who had it. It arrived in less time than that quoted to me from the first store. I've never purchased a scanner product from them, only ham gear.

Adding to the list. I've yet to be a customer of theirs but have heard nothing but good things. I'm going to add them to the list of places to price check for a purchase his Christmas.

Because of my location, i have never been to one of their stores. However ive ordered several things from their website over the years and have always had outstanding service. As of right now, they have the lowest prices on pretty much all GRE scanners

Hro

HRO is a great place to do any business, either on the phone, or in-person. If you order something out of stock, they will get it from another HRO, usually an easy, short time for delivery. Call in for price details, and
be sure to get a catalog when you place an order. HRO Catalog is also online.

Enjoy!
