Calgary Roads

Hello All:
I have programmed the channel Calgary Roads TGs DMR from the RR Database two months ago and I have yet to hear a transmission, is there any other "active" DMR I can try ? Thxs.

A few DMR users that are busier that you can try for starters are:

- Heritage Park: 165.1800/164.3700
- UofC Security: 463.0500
- Southcentre Mall Security and Maintenance: 461.2625

I have U of C already, I am trying to find Calgary Pub works/Roads I have been eyeing their vehicles and they have the shorts stubby style antennas on them (most vehicles) maybe they are not using DMR, will continue to investigate. Again Thanks.

They might still use radios, but I have a feeling they are using PTT over LTE. Did you notice the stubby on a newer truck or older one?

StolenLemur : The 4 or 5 units I seen were new looking, one was a 1 ton truck the others I seen were pickup trucks, the antennas were on the left front fender/hood area.
