Keep an ear out for inland VHF sites in Alpine, Mono, and Inyo counties. There should be sites at Leviathan Peak, Sweetwater, Conway Summit, Crestview, and Silver Peak. Site 3 (Mt. Bullion) was broadcasting the following VHF neighbors today:

Site 63 - CC 151.2050
Site 64 - CC 151.0025

EDIT: Looks like these are Crestview and Sherwin Summit, based on FCC license info.

From this post, 151.1975 reporting as site 60 (licensed at Leviathan Peak WRPW349) as a neighbor on Pine Hill.

Thanks! Can you send me the latest neighbor list for Pine Hill (and any other sites you can receive) so I can update the DB?
As I said in the post, the information didn't come from me it came from a source in the area. I won't be back in Sacramento for a few more months and when I was out in October I didn't get a chance to analyze the sites. If someone else doesn't do it before I get back to Sacramento I'll do it then.

It's looking like the VHF sites will probably be 60 to 65 running north to south but obviously unconfirmed as of now.

It seems like they've now linked the whole system together this past week (as seen with the neighbor sites changing), and I'm curious if they made changes to output power so there's no overlap in coverage.

Bloomer 9 has peers 8, 10, 21, 22. No surprises there
Tuscan Buttes 10 has peers 8, 9 and 11. No surprises there
Southfork 11 has peers 10, 42, 43. No surprises there but we don't know site 43 (LCN 1848, 773.55625) I'll start poking around.

(internal head voice)
Based on the general rule that sites shouldn't have peers that "skip" other peers, in this case every radio leaving Site 11 north will see Site 42 before seeing a potentially 3rd site north closer to Yreka (and while in Weed a few months ago, only 42 was heard) then my guess is 43 would be along the Hwy299 corridor, Oregon or Horse going west, Hachet, Widow or Likely going east. Although depending on the eastern site, it should technically show as a peer with Tuscan Buttes going up the hwy36 or 44 corridor. And if it's Horse, it should show as a peer to the most northern site up the 101 corridor coming out of Sonoma/Mendocino Co.

Mt Saint Helena, the furthest Northern site in Sonoma County has Neighbors 8, 15, 16, and 50. I haven't checked out Mendocino in a while though.

Site 43 should be Antelope Mountain, south of Yreka.
Are we sure, because I thought I would have caught that when I was up there last month. Logically, it would make sense and follow the population and microwave/vehicle path north. Just odd that it's a roaming peer to South Fork, in addition to Soda Ridge...

Fairly confident, but we'll need to confirm before putting it in the DB. It's probably new.

As promised, here's a fresh log of all sites I can hear from Sacramento County.

Site 37 is new to me. I can't hear it, but it's appearing as a neighbor site for Site 7 (Downtown Sacramento).

For those who don't use DSDPlus, the sites below with the neighbor sites listed are what I can hear in Sacramento. The sites with no neighbors and only one frequencies are neighbor sites that DSDPlus captured.

Site 1 was showing Site 60 as an *isolated* neighbor earlier this month. The control channel was 151.19750. It's no longer showing as a neighbor. My guess is maybe some internal testing with the radio techs and getting that site online.

Another presentation found online, this one from the Town of Mammoth Lakes and their decision to join CRIS: Wayback Machine

Edit: This letter from Congress suggests Mono County as a whole is transitioning to CRIS: https://obernolte.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/obernolte.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/Public Safety Radio System Upgrade.pdf

Great info, I think I need to do some radio programming for the 3 of 4 trunked sites I can receive from my house. My continuing cognitive decline will make this a little bit challenging. It won't happen until after the holidays, too busy until then.
