if the STATE EDACS system is still active in the BHam are & also the 800 mobile extenders

puzzleriddle, to my knowledge the EDACS was never used or even put in place in the Birmingham area.
As for the extenders, last I knew they were still in use.

I've heard AST's 800MHz Mobile Extenders here in the Anniston/Oxford area from time to time when a unit would be in close proximity of course and I'm not that far away from I-20 actually.
