Yes sir, all of the South Island. I've been a bit slack the last few trips away... what's listed on RW isn't a complete list... it is, however what I've heard on previous trips away. I didn't want to add stuff that wasn't in use (or is currently ActionNet/Fleetlink, or a standalone TD band channel) as I know of at least two sites (West Coast and Southland) that have frequencies registered but don't seem to be alive, so just keeping things tidy.

Well done.
I've recently added a SDS200E to my collection & now have the Long Gully DMR programmed in.
Don't think I'll receive any others from my location.
I will be heading to Canterbury later in the year.
I should have a USDS100 by then so that will get a work out.

Just giving this thread another tug.

I have created a Canterbury program to install into my USDS100 when I get the DMR Upgrade (Apparently not available atm)
As a trial I put it into my SDS200E.
Running it I notice the Vital DMR Tier3 group will not scan unless I add a tick to the ID Search.
Is that to be expected or am I doing something wrong ?

ID Search searches for any ID that it comes across. ID Scan only scans the Group IDs listed under the Unit ID tab. Not sure why a DMR upgrade would be unavailable, it's literally just a software key you enter...

I imported all the groups from the database that were compatible with my radio.
Put each group on a different favorite (eight in all)
They would all scan except the Vital Group.

I knew through experimenting with the Vital at Long Gully, the ID Search had to be ticked or it wouldn't scan.

Re the upgrade.
It says on the uniden.au site, it's currently unavailable.

Just comparing the Orion Wiki sites with Radio Reference.
Got some variation with LCN's for Gawler Downs, Mount Grey & Marleys Hill.
Havent checked any of the others.
Which is most likely to be correct ?

Got my upgrade ok.

Radiowiki because I manually confirmed everything. Mt Grey is missing a channel (ie it's not physically active) so there's 2 LCNs missing and doesn't increment in order from memory.

definitely still active nationwide, but with Vital clearly indicating they're going to slowly migrate customers over, I didn't feel it was worth my time mapping out.. and with no handheld scanners able to decode MPT-1327, most people sitting at home probably already have mapped it out if they wanted to listen

I have thought about getting back into scanning as I enjoyed scanning the old TL parker Motorola Smartnet system when I lived in Christchurch a few years ago. Is there still much on the DMR systems of Orion and Vital etc? or have businesses moved away as smartphones have become the norm. Was thinking about getting an SDR as it would be more cost effective as my old uniden BC346 only does analog trunking.
