That is wild to me. I also don’t know what all was done, or the cost of it ,lol. CFD can probably get another 10 years out of it. TRS 10 runs what... 50 calls a year? Seems like it was doing in well the TRS roll - I mean everything seemed to fit in it

From I found out, no changes were made to the exterior at all. It was all repairs made to the interior. Especially the frame rail, because according to the guys at fleet, it was severely corroded.

I’ve heard from fleet guys before that our roads and salt use on the roads in the winter is killing the fleet 😅 But most departments are in the same boat.

Looks like every department in the area is looking for some new wheels. These next few years are going to be crazy.

Good info, I meant longer term. How many new tenders will CFD choose to aquire? Will they perhaps look at increasing the current number on order?

Just a follow up to @Ghostpolice24. CFD has a new protocol for any 69 card. An additional Engine and Tender is attached to every fire now, due to the water issue.

I tried to get the info from 25 yesterday, but they ended up getting toned to a fire before I could ask. However, it ended up sending 25 Engine and 25 Tender to it, while Ladder 23 was assigned.

Pretty odd getting Full 25 to a fire, and it not having the Tower go. 35 is a fully staffed Tender, 25 is 50/50 and 21 is cross-staffed with the boat.

Seeing as how the water main repair is supposed to take another week, maybe we'll see 25 Tender and Tower fully staffed and the Tender getting a lot more runs. CFD mutual aided Rocky View on Thursday for wildland fire in Springbank. I know Engine 35 and DC 3 responded, but does anyone know if other units were sent?

BB8, Tender 21 went I think, although not sure. Also can’t believe it’s possible to see a Tender responding into downtown for calls now

Today I was down at the boat launch by 6 station and saw ST0219 attached to a Boat trailer. It wasn’t Boat 6 as it was In Quarters at 6 Station. Do scheduled river patrols not use B6/B21/B30? What is this boat known as on the radio?

Interesting as that truck has no lights or sirens. Boat patrols on the river are always done by the main Boat Tows, so interested to know what’s going on there

I tried to listen to all of the archives but I didn't hear a tone out for the call and no tact channel chatter, only DC 3 cleaning the scene

Really interesting to see a Tender going downtown for structure fire calls, I really could not seeing them nurse an Engine at a highrise structure fire

Great video of the garage fire in Ogden! Ladder 23 Stretched a line, so there tank is full and the pump works. Interesting to see

ST0219 with a boat on the river could be for training/ maybe testing out the new Outlaw boat

The fact that a Tender can now head into the core is shocking for me. But, whatever floats their boat. They could sure use that lease Tender right about now and put a 4th Tender into service. Nice to see that Tender 35 is back, even if it just for the water crisis. Does this new policy for an Engine and Tender to go to fires apply city wide, or to the parts that were affected by the main the most?

Thank you, was pretty excited seeing that smoke as I was coming out of 25. E9 ended up using the deck gun, and running out of water, so 16 needed to stretch about a 300m 125 line to them. In the meantime, Ladder 23 just pulled a 44 and used that while the Engine waited for water.
