Changes are coming to Troop F frequencies with a change over date of 9/13. The current four channel, Tenney, M, Wash, Holden are being consolidated to a three channel line up.

Troop F SOUTH 154.680 NAC852
Troop F CNTRL 154.845 NAC211
Troop F NORTH 155.805 NAC852

If anybody has more information please feel free to share.

As far as scanning goes, you covered it. I forget where the exact borderlines are when to switch channels, but that'll fall in place soon enough. All three channels will be multi-site simulcast, which will hopefully improve coverage. I believe they'll continue to run independently like the current/old system.

If I recall correctly:

F-South will pretty much be Grafton County. Replacing the M-Zone and Tenney. (Combining the M-Zone's TX and the Tenney RX, if I recall).

F-Central will be Lincoln/Franconia Notch, Littleton/Lancaster/Berlin/Milan. Northern part of the old M-Zone and all of the Wash Zone. (New repeater pair, old Wash TX was a paging frequency and the input was unlicensed.)

F-North will be everything north of F-Central (Old Holden Zone, reusing Holden's frequencies)

This may change slightly as all the boundaries were developed off of coverage maps, and the coverage between the zones actually overlaps pretty decently.

Troop F units went quiet late spring and early summer. All I heard were Coos deputies communicating with Troop F.
If fact there was an road event broadcast one weekend day with traffic control communications. 155.805 has be used quite a bit this past week and is extremely loud as well as clear north of Whitefield.

If ya don't already have the new frequencies in, they'll likely be online early to mid week this week.

Also one of the Zones will be tied to VLAWLPN (LP North) for awhile too.

155.805 hasn't been clear in the Stratford, NH, area. It sounded encripted. At 1150 AM today radio maintenance called out
to Troop F dispatcher for a test which was perfectly clear. Troop F and Coos County Sheriff units were plentiful.

Pretty sure that they were putting up the last site on Mt. Orne in Lancaster. It got delayed because DOS "management" dropped the ball on the leasing for the site, so it wasn't done before cutover.
